Guidance Counseling

Bishop Lynch High School promotes the development of the total person, which includes students’ mental and emotional well-being. Bishop Lynch has a team of licensed guidance counselors on site to address the mental health needs of our students. Each student is assigned a guidance counselor to accompany them throughout their BL journey.

In addition to counseling team, additional resources make BL a safe and nurturing environment for our students.

BL CareLink

BL CareLink allows students or parents to submit an anonymous report of non-emergency concerns about a BL student’s physical or mental health, including anything that may need to be properly investigated and addressed. QR codes linked to the submission form are posted around the building.

Hope Squad

Hope Squad is a national peer-to-peer suicide-prevention program. Bishop Lynch is home to one of 1,500 Hope Squads in the country, which train students to recognize suicide warning signs in their peers and refer them to adults.
